Watch Don’t Think Twice Q&A from the 2016 SXSW Film Festival

July 29, 2016 Matt Katte

When a member of a popular New York City improv troupe gets a huge break, the rest of the group – all best friends – start to realize that not everyone is going to make it after all.

Comedian, writer, actor, and director Mike Birbiglia (Sleepwalk With Me), along with cast members Keegan-Michael Key, Gillian Jacobs, Chris Gethard, Tami Sagher, Kate Micucci, and Maggie Kemper joined us for the World Premiere of Don’t Think Twice at the 2016 SXSW Film Festival.

Following the screening, the group took the stage to discuss the cast’s chemistry in performing improv together, the semi-autobiographical nature of the film, and the guiding principle for the story.

Watch the video above for the complete post-screening Q&A. Don’t Think Twice was produced by Ira Glass, the creator and host of the award-winning public radio show This American Life. Glass also spoke at the 2016 SXSW Conference, which you can watch here.

Don’t Think Twice screened at SXSW on Sunday, March 13, at the historic Paramount Theatre, and is now playing in select theaters.
