RSVP for SXSW 2019 Mentor Sessions, Round Tables & Workshops

We’re excited to announce the opening of RSVPs for 2019 Mentor Sessions, Round Table Sessions, and Workshops! These sessions provide a unique opportunity for Interactive, Film, and Music registrants to gain insights from industry professionals for quick one-on-one talks to receive advice and guidance in a particular field. Registrants will not only benefit from the industry expert, but from the questions and input of their peers. Topics and areas of expertise vary so make sure to browse the full list to find the best fit. Advance sign-up is required and access is limited to badge type.

Mentor Sessions will take place from Friday, March 8 – Saturday, March 16 in various venues. New for SXSW 2019, we have added Cannabusiness and Blockchain & Cryptocurrency mentors, Music Round Tables, and Demo Listening Mentor Sessions!

Mentor Sessions

Mentor Sessions and Demo Listening Mentor Sessions offer one-on-one coaching with professionals from all aspects of tech, film, and music industries. Within the 75 minute duration of Mentor Sessions, there will be five one-on-one meetings lasting 15 minutes each.

Round Tables

Round Tables for Film and Music bring together three industry experts and SXSW attendees for an informal and enlightening discussion on a specific topic. Industry insiders will spend 20 minutes at each table before switching.

Workshops

Hands-on, in-depth workshops offer advanced level information that revolves around a particular topic or skill and enables SXSW registrants to gain more expertise in their particular area of interest. Workshops vary in length ranging from one and a half hours to three hours, depending on the particular session.

Advance sign-up is required and access is limited to badge type. Music workshops will not require RSVPs.
