Michael Pollan, author of How to Change Your Mind: What the New Science of Psychedelics teaches us about Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression and Transcendence and Tim Ferriss, author, entrepreneur and angel investor, discussed the exciting applications of psychedelics that still have yet to be explored at SXSW 2019.
During the Featured Session, Pollan elaborated on the renaissance of the scientific study of psychedelics as a mode of therapy for mental illness and how they could be utilized as a tool for understanding the mind. He described how psychedelics can be used to reset the mind by exploring his own experiences with psychedelics.
