Blast From the Past: SXSW Film Festival Bumpers Collection [Video]

August 15, 2018 Neha Aziz

In honor of the 2018 SXSW Film Festival being the 25th edition of the festival, we went back into the vault and picked some of our favorite film bumpers from the past years.

Each season, SXSW Film bumpers are not only a way to get the audience ready for the start of the film but also to set them up with some of that SXSW personality. Showcasing an array of unique genres and styles, check out bumpers from alumni including Bob Odenkirk, Joe Swanberg, and David Lowery as well as alumni appearances from some of your favorites like Jeff Goldblum, Mark Duplass, Greta Gerwig, and more.

Watch them over, and over, and over again until you’re back in Austin for the 2019 SXSW Film Festival in March!
