James Franco‘s wildly popular film The Disaster Artist is currently playing in select theaters and will open nation-wide on December 8. The SXSW Film Festival Work-In-Progress screening received an enthusiastic response as well a standing ovation. Since its SXSW debut, the film has garnered critical acclaim, particularly praising Franco’s direction and performance as Tommy Wiseau.
