KCRW Returns to Present Two Showcases at SXSW 2017

February 16, 2017 Hayden Bagot

Los Angeles public radio station KCRW is returning to SXSW Music to present two official showcases on Wednesday, March 15. Like in past years, KCRW’s eclectic showcase lineups feature some of today’s best up-and-coming artists.

From 3:00PM – 6:00PM, KCRW will take over the Radio Day Stage in the Austin Convention Center with a lineup that includes UK synth-pop act The Japanese House, surf-pop indie favorites Real Estate, and psychedelic dreamers Temples.

Then, on Wednesday evening KCRW will present an excellent line-up at Elysium. Save time on your schedule for this showcase including the expert pop songcraft of LA standout Mondo Cozmo, Aussie trio Middle Kids, the teenage-led punk outfit Cherry Glazerr, and the soulful sound of Stones Throw artist Gabriel Garzon Montano, rounding off the night with UK notables Sohn and Aquilo.

Register to the event for primary access to premier nighttime music showcases, and industry-focused sessions. This year, the Music badge also gives you access to most Film Festival screenings and Interactive Conference sessions.
